Lake Mac Casino Resort is seeking a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to help lead kitchen operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for guests.

This role supervises and coordinates kitchen staff while maintaining excellence in food quality, safety, and service. The ideal candidate brings strong culinary experience, leadership skills, and a passion for teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and timely service
  • Train, support, and supervise kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards for safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Manage inventory, portion control, and food quality
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and performance management
  • Support menu execution and special events
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Strong culinary knowledge and food production experience
  • Leadership experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively
